混凝土攪拌車的發動機采用柴油發動機,柴油機具有在轉速條件不變時,其他性能受負荷影響而變化的特性。綜合考慮各種問題,在發動機限速上要將發動機的經濟油耗設置在特定的區域內,而不是一個固定的點上,在此油耗較為經濟的區域內,發動機根據工作的具體情況及需要,選擇區域內的某一油耗點,以此實現的效果。同時,混凝土攪拌車是一種運輸工具,在運輸過程中,頻繁換檔是常見情況。

因此,根據不同的檔位進行控制技術設計是必要的。根據混凝土攪拌運輸車的作業情況,柴油機的轉速使得其油耗量在經濟油耗的區域之內,技術應著眼于運輸車的載物狀況。對于混凝土滿載攪拌運輸車,調整發動機的工作點,使得車速降低,但混凝土攪拌運輸車司機可以手動變換檔位以改善速度降低等問題。對于混凝土空載的攪拌運輸車,應限制發動機轉速,但此舉會使得混凝土攪拌車的較大速度大大降低,因此司機可以通過高檔位實現速度的提升。

混凝土攪拌車分為四種工作狀況:停車裝料攪拌、滿載攪拌運輸、停車卸料攪拌、空載運輸返回。根據混凝土攪拌運輸機的工況不同,設計適應不同需求狀況的發動機,根據混凝土攪拌車的外部負荷情況適時調整發動機的工作點,通過設計多條柴油機的變功率曲線,滿足混凝土攪拌運輸機在不同外部負荷、不同檔位的需求。

在實際的操作中,結合混凝土攪拌運輸機的牽引力、速度、檔位,考慮外部負荷情況,選擇合適的發動機,計算其功率,從而在特定范圍內選擇發動機的變功率曲線。變功率控制通過限制功率,使其在相關工作有質有量的前提下,降低油耗量達到節約能耗效果。
